Learn his dual sided employee and employer perspective on how to get promoted and grow a successful career as a software engineer.

Guest Bio
Santiago Becerra started his career in tech as a lead programmer, he went on to help found, grow, and sell two tech companies, and now leads a fast growing Augment Analytics team at the world’s leading business intelligence tech company Tableau. 

Highlights of Santigio’s career include being the Co-Founder and CTO of Xcelsius a business intelligence dashboard. At Xcelsius he developed the initial proof of concept and patented key technology components. Hired, trained and managed the product development team and was responsible for product development. Xcelsius was acquired by SAP and integrated into the Business Objects portfolio.

In 2008 he went on to lead Romabi a business intelligence app as their VP Engineering. Where he led the development team through a period of rapid growth, significant product expansion, and M&A activities. His work contributed to Roambi also being acquired by SAP.
