When you negotiate your salary, don’t just say “I want more money.” Give them reasons to pay you more.
If you don’t provide reasons why you should be paid more, they won’t. To get a higher salary you need to clearly communicate why you are worth paying more. Prior to going into a salary negotiation, study the job description and prepare a list of quantified achievements from your work history that demonstrate how your skills and accomplishments apply to the role and better the company.
